Nice post. Really enjoyed reading through. Sorry for the ankle pop. Hope you had recovered pretty quickly after that. I had an ankle sprink and was on bed rest for a month.

In reply to Arabella. It's pretty easy to find. Just past the boat launch next to the marina you paddle down around the rocks and it is a cove to the left. If you look at Google Maps, I think there is a marker there called "old Landing"

In reply to Mark. Apache Lake is great for beginners. The storm wasn't nice, but that's our own fault. You should definitely try hammocks!
