Camper sleeve comes with two large netted windows for stargazing and the spreader bars are made out of aluminium. It’s very fast to be setup and very comfortable to sleep in as a side sleeper. Everything assembled to be right length (ridge line, etc.) all I needed was to trees. Very happy with the purchase and now many of my friends want one too.

I absolutely love it. It may be a little heavy but the comfort and set up make it well worth it. Keep in mind that my pack weight with the hammock still only comes in at 20 lb. I spoke to Dave, and he told me he’s been working on this design for 20 years. I love the fact that he keeps improving it. I can literally set the hammock up in about 2 1/2 minutes, takedown is a little bit more than that. I’m also finding it to be extremely storm worthy. One neat feature is the Skylight addition. Its hard to explain but man is it neat to look at the stars at night.

Not many options, but Dutchware.com has something similar with the Dutch Hook.

It might work on a bridge hammock like the ridge runner IF the side to side pole lengths and the distance between foot and head end poles are similar, AND you can somehow rig up a ridge strap or end point attachments to be high enough. Then again just buy a Chrysalis I say 🙂
