I’m a hammock camper. I’ve found that ratchet straps make for quick, STRONG supports, and easily adjustable to height and tensions!

Ants migration from one tree to another… that has happened a few times on my hammocked trees… along the ridgeline and top of hammock!

Tip: Spray diluted tea tree oil or herbal mosquito repellent at the straps…

That is a good point that a good campsite is found and not made. It would be nice to go out and find a campsite and just set up a hammock there. That would be an amazing experience to get a good view at a campsite in a hammock. Maybe I should get a hammock so I can try this out at some point.
